What the message means
Frame and thumbnail tools show a preview so you can choose the exact moment. “The video preview could not be loaded” means the video could not be opened for preview. Nothing has been changed.
Try this
- Make sure the video is fully downloaded and available on this device, not online-only.
- Close editors or players that may have the file locked.
- Play the video in another player to check that it is not damaged.
- If it plays, convert it to MP4 first and use the frame tools on the new file.
Start time outside the video
“Choose a start time within the video” appears when the selected time is at or after the end of the clip. Pick a moment inside the video, or leave the default start.
