Why there is a waiting period
Each computer receives a signed permission that works offline for up to 7 days. When you remove a computer, or sign out on it without an internet connection, that permission may still be valid on the old computer. The seat therefore becomes available to another computer when the old permission ends.
After removal, the dashboard and the app show the date from which another computer can use the seat.
The same computer can return at once
Signing in again on the computer that just signed out reconnects it to its previous seat immediately. The waiting period only applies to a different computer, and also to the original one if a different computer has used the seat in between.
If you need a second computer now
- Check your dashboard for another unused license.
- Stop sharing a license you shared earlier, if it is not in use.
- Or add a license from the dashboard. Each license covers one computer at a time.
