What happened
NativeActions processes files in a separate, restricted worker so that a problem with one file cannot affect your system. “The worker stopped unexpectedly. Your original files are safe.” and “Processing failed” mean that worker ended before finishing. Nothing was overwritten.
Try again step by step
- Run the action again on the same file. A temporary problem often clears.
- Try a single file instead of a large batch to find the file that causes the error.
- Restart the computer if the message repeats for different files.
- “Another operation is preparing” only means a second operation started at the same moment; wait a few seconds and try again.
Security software
Some antivirus tools stop unfamiliar processes. If the problem started after a security update, check its quarantine or blocked items for NativeActions and allow it, or reinstall NativeActions from the Download page.
