Request cancellation
Use Cancel in the progress window for the task you want to stop. Wait for the worker to acknowledge it before starting the same operation again.
Cancellation is not undo
A batch may have completed some files before the request arrived. Those results can remain. Inspect the output folder to distinguish completed files from inputs that still need processing.
Give the task time
Some processing steps need a moment to stop safely. If an operation fails, read the error and check its input and destination before retrying. Your original source is separate from converted copies.
