“Couldn’t check for updates”

What it means

NativeActions checks for updates every hour, also while the app is closed, and opens itself when an update is ready. When the website cannot be reached, the Updates screen says it could not check. Your file tools work offline and nothing about your installation changes.

Check again

1. Make sure the computer is online and that nativeactions.com opens in a browser.
2. Open About → App updates and choose Check again.
3. On company networks, ask the administrator to allow www.nativeactions.com and Cloudflare R2 storage (r2.cloudflarestorage.com), which delivers the update files.

If no update ever appears

Versions 0.11.1 and earlier check an older update address that no longer serves new releases. Download the current installer from the Download page once and run it; later versions update themselves.
