Share an unused license

Start with an available license

You can share a license you own when it has no connected device and no remaining offline-access reservation. A license shared with you cannot be shared onward.

Sharing transfers the ability to activate that license to the recipient. You remain the purchaser, but you cannot use the shared seat at the same time.

Share by email

1. Open your dashboard and find an available license.
2. Choose Share and enter the recipient’s email address.
3. Confirm the address. The recipient signs in with that verified email to see the license.
4. If the recipient does not have an account yet, access is assigned when that email is registered and confirmed.

Stop sharing

Choose Stop sharing on your owned license. The recipient’s device is revoked and cannot renew access. If it already holds an offline permission, the seat remains reserved until that permission expires, at most 7 days.

The dashboard shows when the license can be activated or shared again.
