What a failed payment means
Payments are processed by Stripe. When a bank declines a card, or a confirmation step such as 3-D Secure is not completed, the order is marked as failed. No license is issued for it and you are not charged for a failed payment.
Try again
- Check the card number, expiry date, security code and billing details.
- Complete any confirmation your bank shows in its app or in the browser window.
- Return to Add licenses in the dashboard and start a new purchase, or use a different payment method.
- If your bank keeps declining, ask it whether online or international payments are blocked for the card.
Check before paying twice
Open Billing in your dashboard before trying again. An order shown as awaiting payment may still complete; wait a few minutes and refresh rather than starting a second purchase.
While the website is in test mode, only Stripe test payment details work and no real money is charged.
