Two operations at a time

To keep your computer responsive, NativeActions runs up to two file operations at the same time for each Windows user. A third one waits and shows “Waiting for another operation to finish” until a slot is free. It then starts by itself.

What you can do

  1. Let it wait. A waiting operation keeps your selection and starts by itself when a slot is free.
  2. Cancel an operation you no longer need from its progress window. Originals stay unchanged.
  3. For very large batches, select fewer files at a time so each operation finishes sooner.

When an operation is slow

Large videos, high-resolution images and target-size compression take the most time; compressing to a size can encode a file several times to find the best quality that fits. Files that are still downloading from OneDrive also wait for the download. Keep the computer plugged in for long jobs.
