Create the copy
Select supported images and choose NativeActions → Convert → WebP. The converted results are separate from your originals. Test one representative image before converting a large folder.
Check compatibility
WebP can carry transparency and is common in web workflows. Some older or specialist applications still prefer JPEG or PNG. Open your result in the app or service that will receive it.
Keep expectations realistic
A WebP export is not guaranteed to be smaller than every source. Content and encoding settings matter. Use Compress for a size-focused task, or Optimize when changes to dimensions are also acceptable.
