Start with the message
Setup shows a short explanation under “Installation needs attention”. It names the most likely cause, so read it before trying again. Nothing is left half-installed when setup stops: Windows either registers the whole app or keeps the previous state.
Common messages and fixes
- “Close any NativeActions windows and active conversions”: finish or cancel running file work, close every NativeActions window, then choose Install again.
- “Free some space on the Windows drive”: the app and its processing components need a few hundred megabytes on the system drive. Empty the Recycle Bin or remove large downloads, then retry.
- “Install available Windows updates”: open Settings → Windows Update, install what is offered, restart and run setup again.
- “Try again and approve the Windows prompt”: Windows asked for permission and it was declined, or this account may not install apps. Approve the prompt or ask the administrator of this PC.
- “Use a fresh copy of this installer”: the download is incomplete or damaged. Download the installer again from the Download page.
Check the system requirements
NativeActions requires Windows 10 version 2004 or later, or Windows 11, on a 64-bit Intel or AMD processor. On other systems setup stops with a clear message and changes nothing.
If a message keeps returning after a restart and a fresh download, write to support@nativeactions.com with the exact wording on screen.
