Properties and content differ
Metadata accompanies the media. Text visible on a PDF page, a face in a photograph and speech in a recording are content, not merely extra properties.
Review as a recipient would
Open the cleaned file normally and inspect or listen to it. Sensitive visible details need an appropriate editing or redaction workflow, followed by verification of the exported result.
Remember filenames
Names and folder paths can reveal personal details too. Rename deliberately when necessary, and avoid sharing full local paths when a simple filename is sufficient.
